Time For Dessert!

Did you really think I’d leave you hanging? I sat in my room with all my stuffed animals (because those are all the friends a girl needs) and said, “Hey guys, I’m going to give them dinner without dessert! Muahahahaaaa!” Of course not!

I present to you:

The Vegan Parfait

Are you ready? Ok! Ready! Set! Go!

What Do I Need?

  • Dairy Free Whipped Cream  (or regular whipped cream if you’re not vegan)
  • Strawberries
  • Black Berries
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • Bananas
  • Squash or Pumpkin Seeds (You will get the seeds from the spaghetti squash I will be showing you how to make!)
  • Martini Glass (or just a normal glass, I was feeling fancy)
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar
  • Coconut Oil
  • Tin Foil
  1. Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 400 F.
  2. Rinse and dry your squash seeds and place them on a baking sheet lined with tin foil.
  3. Lightly coat them with coconut oil, sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Let the seeds bake for 20 mins, stirring at 10 mins.
  5. Slice your strawberries into thin slices.
  6. Now let’s skip to the fun part!

Assembly!

Grab your glass, fruit, cream, and a spoon!

  1. Put a small layer of cream on the bottom of the glass.
  2. Add some blueberries
  3. Another layer of cream
  4. Add some blackberries and raspberries
  5. Another layer of cream
  6. Press the strawberries against the side of the glass and fill the middle.
  7. Another Layer of cream
  8. Add some more blueberries
  9. A very thin layer of cream
  10. Slice bananas onto the top and sprinkle on the squash seeds.
